Job summary

Victaulic is offering a Sales Intern position in the Greater Toronto Area. You will support the Outside Sales Team through field-based activities, participate in contractor and distributor meetings, and assist with project research, analytics, and market opportunities.

You will gain mentorship from regional sales managers and experienced professionals, develop customer communication and business-development skills, and contribute to real projects that influence sales strategies and territory

Qualifications

• Academic experience or coursework related to sales, marketing, business development or data analytics.
• Previous internship, co-op, customer service, retail, business development or other customer-facing experience.
• Interest in technical solutions, construction projects and relationship-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Support customer and project-related activities through participation in sales calls, site visits, contractor meetings, distributor meetings and project reviews.
• Research construction projects, accounts and market opportunities to identify potential customers and next steps.
• Complete a strategic summer project that creates reusable value for the sales team.
• Develop an analytics or data-quality project to improve visibility and decision-making for the sales team.
