General Motors of Canada is seeking a GSC Business Manager to coordinate business planning, performance management, and financial forecasting for the Oshawa Assembly. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business planning, finance, analytics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and digital reporting or visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GSC business planning routines, including KPI reviews, BPD updates, action tracking, and plant and business plan meetings.
• Analyze financial information, complete monthly true-ups, and support forecasting and cost-management activities.
• Partner with GSC leaders and cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve processes, and support execution of business priorities.
• Support safety, training, dangerous goods, export compliance, and workplace transportation requirements through accurate tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
• Prepare and communicate clear updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Contribute to GMS, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and One Team initiatives.
• Support digital enablement within GSC by helping develop and implement dashboards, workflow improvements, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and productivity.

Job Description GSC Business Manager Vacancy Status Yes - This posting is for an existing vacancy within the organization and is open to new applications. (Backfill) AI Disclosure As part of the application process, Artificial Intelligence will be used in the hiring process for this role Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Assembly on a full-time basis. The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Planner supports the Oshawa Assembly GSC organization by coordinating business planning, performance management, financial forecasting, safety and compliance activities, and cross-functional initiatives. This role helps ensure GSC priorities are aligned, tracked, and executed across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate GSC business planning routines, including KPI reviews, BPD updates, action tracking, and plant and business plan meetings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Successful conpletion of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business planning, finance, analytics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and digital reporting or visualization tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, automation, SQL, Python, or AI applications is an asset.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
