Job summary

Web Hosting Canada (WHC) is seeking a Growth Web Designer in Montreal to design, build, and optimize conversion-focused pages. You’ll work directly in WordPress, using Figma, Adobe CC, and AI tools to move from brief to production, iterating based on performance.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Content, Product, and Development to accelerate campaigns and elevate the brand across digital channels, ensuring accessibility and speed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in web design or related field.
• Strong portfolio of web design, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
• Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Hands-on experience designing and building pages in WordPress.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript is a plus.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance.
• Bias toward shipping, testing, and optimization.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-performing assets for landing pages, campaigns, ads, social media, and collateral.
• Build and launch responsive WordPress landing pages with Gutenberg/Elementor.
• Develop concepts using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools for rapid production.
• Apply HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to customize layouts and fix front-end issues.
• Improve layouts, visuals, and structure for clarity, usability, speed, and conversions.
• Create reusable templates and components to speed up campaigns.
• Maintain WHC’s visual identity across digital marketing channels.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Product, and Development to launch and iterate.
