Alan growing presence in Canada

Alan is building its presence in Canada. We are hiring a Marketing Associate to take ownership of the day‑to‑day marketing execution that keeps the brand visible, consistent, and our success measurable.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Growth. You'll contribute to set directions, priorities, as well as the narrative. You will bring life to contents, campaigns and events.

If you’re excited by the idea of building something early and growing with it as the company scales: this role is made for you!

The Marketing Associate role

You will have 3 main missions:

1/ Digital content creation

You will be responsible for keeping Alan visible week to week by:

  • Maintaining a publishing cadence across our digital and social channels
  • Exploring and testing new formats or channels
  • Writing posts, short narratives, emails, and simple page copy
  • Building content from inputs such as events, announcements, partnerships, and internal work
  • Adapting global content for a Canadian audience

What success looks like: regular, on‑brand output that improves over time because you are learning from engagement and applying those insights back into the work.

2/ Inbound generation

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of inbound activity by:

  • Updating landing pages and website content tied to campaigns
  • Running and maintaining warm retargeting and basic paid search campaigns
  • Setting up and maintaining UTMs and tagging
  • Producing simple, consistent performance reporting
  • Making sure campaigns are refreshed, reviewed, and iterated on a regular cadence

What success looks like: campaigns that are live, tracked correctly, reviewed regularly, and producing clear signals that inform what we do next. You will develop an informed point of view on what’s working and what’s not, and bring that into regular reviews.

3/ Events management

The focus here is on supporting repeatable event formats and making sure their impact extends beyond the room. You will support events by:

  • Coordinating logistics, timelines, and materials
  • Building registration pages and follow‑up communications
  • Ensuring events are followed by clear digital touch points
  • Turning events into content where relevant

What success looks like: events that are well supported operationally and consistently translated into digital, content, and inbound inputs that can be reused over time.

If you have some of the following, you may be a great fit
  • You have a first hands‑on experience running digital or inbound campaigns
  • You have a passion for Marketing
  • You are comfortable working with tracking, UTMs, and basic reporting
  • You are able to deliver high quality written asset in a consistent manner
  • You can manage several streams of work at the same time
  • You are accountable for your work and like to clarify topics
  • You are curious, thoughtful, and interested in growing your scope over time

We care more about your ability to operate, learn, and improve systems than a specific number of years of experience.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive salary + equity (grid level A0-B0)
  • Monthly TTC Pass
  • Generous employer matching program for your RRSP
  • Delightful healthcare insurance: great benefits through Alan’s Canada app!
  • In office: amazing office space with free lunch, right in the heart of the financial district (King & Yonge) to work closely and collaboratively with your colleagues 4-5 days per week in person!
  • Flexible leave policy: we trust Alaners to take the holidays they need, and no pre‑approval is required.
  • Personal growth through coaching: At Alan, coaching isn't just a perk — it's core to who we are. Every Alaner is paired with a dedicated coach from day one, who helps maximize their impact, nurture engagement, and navigate Alan's values to develop their full potential.
Important note: we hire people, not roles.

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.

If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?

Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist.

We'll be thrilled to receive your application!
