Job summary

Hendriks Greenhouses in Ontario is seeking an Assistant Grower to help produce high-quality flowering and ornamental plants. You will ensure proper nutrition, environmental control, and pest management in collaboration with the Head Grower to optimize greenhouse operations.

You will monitor crops, adjust nutrients and water, maintain records, support IPM activities, and help keep conditions optimal while staying on-call and working weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Horticulture degree or diploma required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of greenhouse management systems.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be on call and work weekends as needed.
• Valid spray/pesticide license.

Responsibilities
