Job description
Overview

Groupe Dynamite Inc. (GDI) is a Montréal-based, public company of integrated omni‑channel brands, designing and distributing accessible, trend‑forward fashion for women since 1975. Our mission of “Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time” is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer‑centric core of GDI’s long‑standing success as a leading retailer in North America. Today, GDI operates nearly 300 stores across Canada and the United States, as well as shoppable brand experiences at Garageclothing.com and Dynamiteclothing.com.

Job Summary

We’re seeking a passionate and strategic Product Owner, Web (Bottom Funnel & Post‑Purchase) to join our Digital Product team and lead the optimization and transformation of our checkout, fulfillment, and post‑purchase experiences for the Garage and Dynamite websites. As the owner of the bottom funnel journey, you’ll play a critical role in creating a friction‑free path to purchase‑turning hesitation into confidence, transactions into brand love, and customers into loyal advocates. Your scope spans cart, mini cart, checkout, shipping, returns, order history, wishlist, and fulfillment flows, ensuring that every step reflects the same emotion and polish as pre‑purchase moments. You’ll report directly to the Director of Digital Products, partnering closely with IT, Logistics, CRM, and Customer Service teams to translate business goals into actionable roadmaps that drive conversion, satisfaction, and lifetime value.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT, E‑commerce, Logistics, and cross‑functional Product Owners to translate the business vision into clear roadmaps that drive measurable impact across cart, checkout, and post‑purchase journeys;
  • Define user challenges and opportunities in bottom‑funnel experiences and translate them into actionable product and UX priorities;
  • Own the product backlog – prioritizing features, enhancements, and optimizations that reduce friction, improve conversion, and elevate post‑purchase satisfaction;
  • Define and monitor key KPIs (abandonment, order success, returns, customer satisfaction), providing insights and data‑driven recommendations for continuous improvement;
  • Partner with Technology, Design, and Customer Experience teams to deliver cohesive, premium user experiences across checkout, wishlist, and order history;
  • Lead feature development from discovery to launch, maintaining a structured A/B testing and experimentation roadmap to optimize performance and usability;
  • Collaborate with UX/UI and Creative teams to reduce design debt and ensure consistency across all transactional touchpoints;
  • Manage and optimize integrations with third‑party tools and systems (payments, shipping, returns, fraud, order management) to enhance reliability and innovation;
  • Act quickly to identify and resolve critical issues, improving quality and user confidence;
  • Partner with Analytics teams to track funnel performance, conversion metrics, and technical health;
  • Ensure that compliance, accessibility, and performance best practices are embedded in all releases;
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and competitive trends to guide innovation and future‑proof the platform;
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • 3+ years of experience in digital product management with a fast‑paced, consumer‑driven environment, ideally within E‑commerce or transactional web environments focused on cart, checkout, and post‑purchase journeys;
  • Demonstrated experience improving conversion, customer satisfaction, and retention through the data‑driven optimization of bottom‑funnel and order‑management flows;
  • Solid understanding of system development projects and complex technical ecosystems, with the proven ability to collaborate effectively with developers, QA, and UX/UI teams;
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and third‑party integrations across payment, fraud prevention, shipping, and returns;
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies, customer and market research, analytics tools (GA4 or similar), and performance monitoring to inform continuous improvement;
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret funnel data, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable strategies;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, the Scrum framework, and product lifecycle management;
  • Technical acumen, including familiarity with APIs, software architecture, development processes, and basic coding concepts;
  • Technical acumen, including a strong understanding of APIs, platform dependencies, and performance optimization;
  • Strong understanding of UX best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA), and responsive design principles;
  • Demonstrated ability to balance business priorities with technical constraints, driving delivery without compromising quality;
  • Experience working with order tracking, returns, wishlist, and self‑service tools to enhance post‑purchase empowerment and reduce customer friction is a plus.
Assets
  • Ownership: You take initiative and confidently make informed decisions;
  • Data‑driven: You leverage analytics to guide decisions, but also critically evaluate data quality and implications;
  • Passionate: You thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and actively drive innovation and cross‑collaboration;
  • Growth mindset: You seek and apply constructive feedback, knowing that great outcomes require collaboration;
  • Curious: You’re always eager to learn and explore new ideas, technologies, and trends;
  • Empathetic: You deeply understand user needs and champion solutions that genuinely make a difference.

If you’re ready to shape exceptional mobile experiences, influence the strategic direction of our brands, and collaborate with an enthusiastic team dedicated to putting the customer first, we’d love to hear from you.
