Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA) whose main focus will be to work on finance and projects relating to ERP and OMS systems. The BA's role will consist in understanding the financial business vision and working with stakeholders to develop and implement an innovative roadmap of initiatives. The BA we are looking for has a strong financial background coupled with technical knowledge and an understanding of retail ERP systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be a key contributor to solution design with regard to financial and inventory systems to ensure alignment with organizational initiatives;
  • Provide technical and/or functional solutions for the optimization of systems, applications, and business processes;
  • Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream technical implications of any changes being proposed to accurately assess impacts on systems;
  • Participate in defining and executing the technical implementation of designed specifications;
  • Analyze departmental needs in regards to ERP applications and establish appropriate solutions;
  • Be responsible for the incident resolution and continuous improvement of the application portfolio;
  • Actively participate in defining test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders;
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues and work with developers to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
To qualify for this role, you must...
  • Have experience in a retail environment;
  • Be proficient in both technical and functional aspects of RMS Oracle ERP, including RPM and ReSA;
  • Have good knowledge on and a background understanding of costing, stock ledger, pricing, and inventory, specifically within a retail environment;
  • Have knowledge on digital portfolios and their impact on financial systems;
  • Have technical expertise in SQL Developer;
  • Have experience working directly with end business users in bringing complex systems or applications projects to successful completion;
  • Have an excellent understanding of the integration of the people, processes, and technology needed to implement change;
  • Be able to partner with various teams to coordinate and prioritize projects and initiatives;
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
