Job Summary

Reporting to the Brand Marketing & Creative Director, the Brand Editor acts as a liaison between the Brand, Creative, and Product teams to conceive, manage, and execute branded content across all channels. They are responsible for crafting transmedia stories that represent fashion trends and key products while reflecting the brand's one-of-a-kind voice and relevant cultural moments. The ideal candidate blends their creativity and love for pop culture with strong collaboration skills and a solid business sense.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop seasonal/monthly storylines that honour overarching brand narratives;
  • Ensure that storylines support key products and fashion trends while being culturally relevant to a Millennial audience;
  • Build the editorial calendar in partnership with the Brand team;
  • Build content briefs and asset needs prior to photoshoots;
  • Collaborate with social media leads to develop concepts and briefs;
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive campaigns and storylines that reflect the brand's visual aesthetic, tone of voice, and identity;
  • Develop or adapt existing editorial processes that will respect production deadlines and campaign launch dates;
  • Maintain a pulse on fashion trends, pop culture, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape;
  • Oversee the Brand Copywriter on daily/weekly/monthly deliverables.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of related work experience;
  • Experience with copywriting, editing, styling, or fashion merchandising is an asset;
  • Passion for fashion and pop culture;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
  • Well-established business sense;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and meet fast turnaround deadlines;
  • Proven collaboration skills and team player.
