A prestigious educational institution in Sherbrooke is seeking an individual to handle grounds maintenance, requiring three years of related experience and a Class 5 driver's license. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential. The position is full-time with competitive benefits and a salary of $29.47 per hour.
Hiring Unit: McGill University – Facilities Management and Ancillary Services - Building Services
Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the immediate supervisor, sees that all campus grounds, including roadways and sidewalks are maintained. Must be able to operate all machinery relating to the above functions. Takes care of the interior maintenance at times.
Three (3) years related experience, class 5 driver’s license and a safety card. English and French functional spoken and read. English or French functional written.
