Job description

Overview

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the grounds maintenance around the Casino, Parking Structures, and all parking areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleans trash and debris from around the Casino, in the Parking Structures, street, easements, and parking areas. Performs general housekeeping duties.
• Operates equipment such as auto scrubbers, bonnets, scissor lifts, forklifts, and performs pressure washing of driveways, walkways, columns, etc.
• Paints exterior areas as needed. Performs general housekeeping in the Parking Structures and facility perimeter. Removes and replaces trash liners. Washes trash receptacles. Cleans and replaces sand in ashtrays.
• Cleans up emergency spills such as transmission fluid, engine oil, fuel, etc. Maintains chemicals in assigned areas with proper Safety Data Sheet (SDS) labeling.
• Assists in promoting brand loyalty by engaging in exceptional customer service with both external and internal customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Educational, Experience And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA)

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.

Required Licenses, Certifications And Registrations

• At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
