POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of Arborwood Tree Service Inc. is seeking a Grounds Person/Apprentice Arborist to assist certified arborists and support safe, high-quality outdoor tree care. You will help with removals, pruning, site prep, and equipment handling in outdoor environments.

Join a team that values safety, reliability, and hands-on training. 1–2 years in landscaping or tree care is preferred; valid driver’s license and basic safety certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or tree care.
• Experience in physically demanding outdoor work and safety protocols.
• Valid G-Class driver’s license (DZ an asset).
• First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist arborists with tree removals, pruning, and other arboricultural tasks.
• Prepare and clean up job sites before and after work.
• Drag and chip brush, operate ground equipment (chipper, chainsaw, etc.).
• Help load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Provide support to the crew to ensure efficient workflow.
