Valard Construction is seeking a Grounding Coordinator for the Waasigan Transmission Line Construction Project in Northern Ontario. The role focuses on HV grounding systems, including counterpoise installation and FOP testing, with leadership of a crew in a field setting.
The successful candidate will mentor team members, ensure adherence to safety policies, and coordinate with the Construction Manager to align scope, cost, and schedule.
Our Transmission group is currently looking to add a Grounding Coordinator to our team, based on the Waasigan Transmission Line Construction Project in Northern Ontario.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, we are seeking a safety-focused Grounding Coordinator who has knowledge and experience in high-voltage transmission grounding systems, including counterpoise installation, groundwell construction, and FOP testing. This individual has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to lead and mentor a crew while ensuring strict compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and project procedures.
Please Note: this is a field based position in Northern Ontario. Successful candidates must be willing to work shifts based in the field.
This position offers a rate of $45.00– $55.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
