Job summary

Food World Plus in Peel Region, Mississauga is hiring an experienced Retail Grocery Store Cashier. The role requires previous cashier experience in a grocery store; you will greet customers, scan items, process payments, maintain till, and assist shoppers during peak hours.

You will work in a busy environment with upselling, adhere to store policies, operate POS, and participate in training on promotions and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent cash handling accuracy and ability to balance till at shift end.
• Proficient POS operation including scanning, receipts, refunds, and exchanges.
• Meet daily/shift sales targets and contribute to team metrics.
• Friendly customer service with upselling when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, scan items, process payments accurately at checkout.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, balance register at shift end.
