Job summary

Food Basics is seeking a part-time Grocery Clerk to join our unionized team. The role focuses on serving customers, restocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions while adhering to the collective agreement wage scale starting at $16.60 per hour.

Permanent, part-time position with flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays; experience is asset and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service driven.
• Able to stock merchandise and create displays.
• Good product knowledge and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Retail experience considered an asset.
• Able to stand for long periods and work under minimal supervision.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights, weekend and holidays.
