Job summary

FreshCo is seeking a Grocery Supervisor in Nova Scotia to provide friendly, professional service and to supervise the Grocery Department in the absence of the Grocery Manager. You will actively contribute to an engaging environment for employees and customers.

Responsibilities include meeting customer needs, supervising staff, coaching, completing and preparing orders, daily prep, merchandising, and adhering to company standards while maintaining sanitation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Above average oral and written communication skills.
• Good work ethic and ability to multitask.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to meet customer needs.
• Supervise grocery personnel in the absence of the Grocery Manager.
• Promote an employee culture of coaching and development.
• Complete customer grocery orders.
• Prepare grocery orders.
• Perform daily grocery preparation.
• Merchandise the Grocery Department.
• Implement SMART retailing (Atlantic).
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
