Job summary

Food Basics in Ontario is hiring a part-time Grocery Clerk to support customer service, stocking and displays. This permanent, unionized role offers wage starting at $16.60 per hour with potential increases per collective agreement.

The successful candidate will be flexible for nights, weekends and holidays, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and provide friendly service to customers in a fast-paced grocery environment.

This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $16.60 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether starting or higher, will fall within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.
