Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Thunder Bay, Ontario is seeking a friendly Grocery Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, keep the grocery area clean and well zoned, and support stocking and sales activities in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will maintain department standards, rotate stock to ensure freshness, verify pricing and labeling, uphold food safety and sanitation, and ensure the department is fully stocked for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grocery department standards to keep the area clean, organized and customer-ready.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced; follows procedures for ordering, clearance, and labeling.
• Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Stocks merchandise and completes modular tasks to keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Be open to a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
