Walmart Canada in Sault Ste. Marie is hiring a Grocery Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service while keeping the grocery area clean, organized and properly zoned.

You'll assist stocking and sales activities and help ensure the store is ready for customers throughout the shift. This role requires being able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, standing for long periods, and handling merchandise up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.

• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.Food Safety and SanitationFollows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.Stocking and Modular ExecutionEnsures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.Health and Safety ComplianceFollows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
