Responsibilities

• Maintains grocery department clean, organized, and zoned for customer readiness.
• Rotates merchandise, removes expired/damaged products to preserve freshness and quality.
• Ensures items are signed and priced correctly; follows procedures for ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, signing, and labeling.
• Follows food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
• Stocks merchandise and completes modulars, flex modulars, and new shelf caps to keep the department ready for business.
• Adheres to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe, clean workplace.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

What you'll do...

Maintain Grocery Department Standards

Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.

Stock Rotation and Product Quality

Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.

Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy

Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.

Food Safety and Sanitation

Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.

Stocking and Modular Execution

Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Health and Safety Compliance

Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
