Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a friendly Grocery Associate in Langford, BC to deliver outstanding customer service, keep the grocery area clean and well stocked, and support pricing and signage accuracy. • Food Safety and Sanitation — follow safety and cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment
• Stocking and Modular Execution — fully stock department, complete downstocking, set modulars and shelf caps
• Health and Safety Compliance — adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) — be open to varied shifts based on business needs

Position Summary…

Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. As part of the team, you help ensure the store is always ready for customers and contribute to a positive, dependable shopping experience. What you’ll do…

• Maintain Grocery Department Standards
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Stocking and Modular Execution Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Health and Safety Compliance Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Physical Demands

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
