Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Grocery Associate in Chilliwack, BC to deliver excellent customer service, keep the grocery area clean and well zoned, and support stocking and sales activities in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help ensure the store is ready for customers, maintain department standards, rotate stock, and ensure proper signing and pricing while adhering to food safety and health guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include being 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Grocery Department Standards Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Stocking and Modular Execution Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Health and Safety Compliance Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
