Job summary

Walmart Canada in Campbell River, BC is seeking a Grocery Associate to deliver excellent customer service, keep the grocery area clean and well zoned, and support stocking and sales activities. You will help ensure the store is ready for customers and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

The role involves maintaining department standards, rotating stock, pricing and signing, ensuring food safety and sanitation, stocking and modular execution, and complying with health and safety

• Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
• High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
