A regional transportation company is seeking an experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to transport bulk cement powder and frac sand throughout Alberta. Candidates must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brakes and experience in commercial driving. Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cement powder and frac sand in pneumatic B-train configurations throughout Alberta. Hours of work will be in accordance with Federal Logbook regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive heavy-duty trucks over long distances to transport bulk cement powder and frac sand to various locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage as required by federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on the truck and trailers as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Class with Air Brakes.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic Tank trailers is an asset; B-Train experience is an asset.
