Qualifications

• Expérience dans la prévention et l'éradication des maladies, des nuisibles et des mauvaises herbes.
• Expérience de supervision dans un environnement de pépinière ou de serres.
• Expérience de travail de 2 à moins de 3 ans dans ce domaine.

Responsibilities

• Embaucher, superviser et planifier le personnel.
• Préparer des estimations des coûts de main-d'œuvre et de matériel.
• Former le personnel sur les fonctions de travail et les procédures de sécurité.

Tasks

• Hire, supervise and schedule staff
• Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property
• Schedule work
• Plan and estimate labour and materials
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
• Supervise staff and other officials
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
• Establish work schedules
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Prepare estimates of labour and / or material costs
• Train staff / workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
