Forward Financing LLC is seeking a GRC Analyst to drive our governance, risk, and compliance program. You will manage third-party risk, help maintain policies, and support SOC2 audits while improving risk visibility across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2+ years in GRC or compliance, strong organizational skills, and a curiosity about security. The role emphasizes collaboration, policy development, and the strategic use of AI tools in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2+ years of experience in a GRC, risk, or compliance role.
• Experience with third-party/vendor risk management processes, including due diligence and assessments.
• Familiarity with creating or maintaining policies, standards, and procedures.
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify and evaluate risks.
• Experience supporting compliance audits, such as SOC2, by gathering evidence and coordinating with teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated versatility and willingness to stretch into new tasks and priorities.
• Intellectual curiosity about risk, compliance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct third-party risk assessments and ongoing vendor monitoring.
• Assist in developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support risk analysis and tracking of organizational risks.
• Gather evidence and coordinate for SOC2 audits.
• Develop and maintain the GRC program aligned with business objectives.
• Promote security and risk awareness through clear communication.
• Leverage AI/ML tools to automate routine GRC tasks.
• Conduct internal audits of systems and processes.
