Job description

About The Role

Hi, I'm Graham, and I lead a small team of designers in Marketing Design at Jane. I believe all design should be accessible, and I care a lot about the craft it takes to get there. Before Jane I was a designer at HelloFresh and ran my own studio, and what I love most about this job is that our work reaches people who spend their days helping others. Our team makes the visual work behind everything Jane's marketing puts out: campaigns, our website, events, paid media, partnerships, email, and social. We work with every marketing function, so no two weeks look quite the same. We're also leaning into AI and smart templates to help our program owners move faster, which makes this a really fun time to join. We're looking for an Intermediate Graphic Designer to join us on a 12-month contract covering a parental leave. You'll step into a set of programs that already have templates and workflows in place, and you'll be our go-to for production across social, web, email, and partner assets. You'll design landing pages in Figma with our web team, keep our HubSpot email components running smoothly, and help us find new ways to work smarter with AI. If you're fast, reliable, and as curious about why a design works as how to make it, I'd love to meet you.

The Impact You Could Have
  • Own production for a wide range of marketing assets, including social graphics, web banners, partner materials, and pieces for internal events, keeping up with a busy content calendar while holding a high bar for polish.
  • Bring campaigns to life by turning a creative brief into one cohesive look across landing pages, ads, email, and social.
  • Help our web team design and build landing page layouts in Figma and WordPress, working within our design system so every new page feels like part of the same site.
  • Keep our HubSpot email system running smoothly by maintaining reusable, accessible modules built on live text, web-safe fonts, and cross-client best practices.
  • Support recurring programs like our product newsletter, partnership assets, and lifecycle campaigns, so the people who rely on them always have what they need.
  • Improve how the team works by building and refreshing templates that make it easier for program owners to create on-brand materials themselves.
  • Champion pragmatic, responsible AI adoption on the team, using AI tools to speed up production and templating while keeping quality, accessibility, and brand standards front and centre.
  • Bring fresh ideas to creative reviews and kickoffs, and pick up projects from other designers when priorities shift.
The Experience We Feel We Need
  • You have 3 to 4 years of graphic design experience, in-house or agency, with a strong background in production work and a portfolio that shows range across social, web, email, and template-based design.
  • You're very strong in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and comfortable in Canva.
  • You've designed for the web and have hands-on WordPress experience, ideally working within a design system or pattern library.
  • You understand the fundamentals of email design, including accessibility, responsive layouts, and cross-client rendering, and you've worked in an email platform like HubSpot.
  • You know enough HTML and CSS to build or troubleshoot email and web templates without relying entirely on a developer.
  • You've used AI tools in your design workflow and are excited to keep exploring how they can make production faster and smarter.
  • You have a strong eye for typography, colour, layout, and accessibility, and you apply it consistently across a template system.
  • You manage your time well, keep several deadlines moving at once, and people know you as someone who is fast and reliable.
  • You can walk us through your process and explain the thinking behind your design decisions, and you take feedback in stride.
  • You find your feet quickly somewhere new, ask good questions, and take ownership of your work from there.
  • B2B SaaS experience or an interest in health and wellness is a nice bonus, but not a requirement.

If you don't meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you.
