In this role, you’ll be responsible for the overall visual expression of the Canucks Sports and Entertainment brands (i.e., Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver Warriors and Rogers Arena) across integrated platforms, including TV, social, digital, OOH, print, in-arena, and more. This is an onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver.

This Role Will Focus On
  • Developing and maintaining the overall brand identity of Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) brands
  • Conceptualizing and designing fan-facing creative to drive CSE brands and businesses, across all fan touchpoints
  • Creating production files that reflect the most efficient file-building methods
  • Sharing and explaining your work, process, and decisions to the Art Director or Sr. Designer, as well as across different departments
  • Balancing concurrent projects efficiently to meet benchmark dates and deadlines
You Have

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design
  • 1-3 years of design experience in an agency or in-house setting
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software
  • A strong creative mindset and the ability to conceptualize and execute unexpected solutions
  • Proven strength in foundational visual design disciplines: composition, colour, layout, typography
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on branding, consistency, and quality
  • Collaborative, creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced cross-team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
You May Also Have
  • Motion Design/Animation
  • UI and UX Design
