Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong visual sense, excellent design skills, and the ability to translate ideas into engaging visual content across digital and print media.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design visual content for marketing campaigns, websites, social media, advertisements, packaging, and branding materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and execute design strategies that align with brand guidelines.
- Create layouts, graphics, and illustrations for brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity across all projects and platforms.
- Prepare and deliver final design files in required formats for print or digital use.
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is an asset (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) or Figma / Canva.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and revise designs accordingly.
- On-site with possible hybrid work setup; applicants should be located in the Ottawa area and preferably close to the office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or UI / UX design.
- Knowledge of branding and marketing principles.
- Familiarity with web design and social media content creation.
