Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Design Technician ? Visual Effects to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President and will be responsible for creating visually engaging UI/UX designs, interactive data visualizations, animations, and prototypes for our logistics and ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • UI/UX Design & Interactive Elements
    • Design intuitive, visually appealing UI components to enhance user experience for complex logistics data.
    • Integrate micro-interactions such as hover effects and animated buttons to guide users through platform features.
  • Data Visualization & Real-Time Graphics
    • Create interactive, data-driven graphics, charts, and progress indicators to visualize shipment tracking, inventory levels, and delivery statuses.
    • Develop dynamic maps showing shipping routes and warehouse locations, working closely with developers for smooth integration.
  • Custom Animations & Visual Effects
    • Implement smooth transitions, loading animations, and feedback visuals to enhance system usability.
    • Design onboarding sequences and subtle animations for notifications and system updates.
  • Consistent Branding & Visual Standards
    • Apply the company’s brand identity across platforms, maintaining cohesive visual standards.
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure internal visual elements align with external promotional materials.
  • Prototyping & Testing
    • Build mockups and prototypes for stakeholder review.
    • Conduct user testing and optimize visuals based on feedback.
  • Visual Optimization for Data-Rich Interfaces
    • Develop clear visual hierarchies to prioritize critical logistics information.
    • Use color coding, icons, and subtle animations to improve data clarity and user navigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Interaction Design, or related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in UI/UX design, data visualization, and creating interactive/animated visuals.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and engaging visual formats.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information
  • Paid vacation: 2 weeks per year (pro-rated in the first year), vacation pay at 4% of regular salary.
  • Salary is paid bi-weekly via check or direct deposit, subject to statutory deductions.
