Job summary

Central Ontario FS is seeking a seasonal worker to support grain handling, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks in Central Ontario. You will load and unload grain, operate dryers, and assist with inventory and paperwork for the month-to-month cycle from September through December.

Candidates should be physically fit to climb heights, able to lift 50 lbs, hold a valid G-class license, and follow posted safety rules and procedures. Seasonal role with local shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using basic computer and digital tools.
• Understanding of electrical panels and safe operation.
• Physically able to climb heights and lift heavy objects.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Familiarity with basic plant equipment and machinery operations.
• Valid G-class driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good spoken English and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Grain Handling: Load/unload trucks, operate grain dryers, grade grain.
• Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, bobcats, trucks, and automated systems.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks, repairs, and upkeep of machinery.
• Inventory & Records: Conduct monthly silo inventory, manage scale weights and paperwork.
• Facility Care: Maintain elevator, grounds, and warehouse; assist with silo cleanouts.
• Customer Service: Provide year-round support and service to customers.
