Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of mathematical statistics, MLE, sufficiency, hypothesis testing, Bayesian inference, regression, multivariate methods, experimental design, nonparametric stats.
• Ability to explain asymptotic theory, Neyman-Pearson lemma, GLMs for doctoral-level analysis.
• Familiar with graduate stats curricula and challenges; adapts instruction using R or Python.
• Strong teaching methods; able to tailor to individual learning needs.
• Excellent communication and friendly teaching style.
• Able to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions.
