Job summary

Aon is seeking a Client Consulting Graduate in Toronto to join the PathWise Solutions Group (STG). This early-career role offers exposure to high-performance computing software and actuarial modeling on real client projects, with mentorship from experienced actuaries and quantitative professionals.

You will support asset modeling, ALM strategies, and model testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in applying quantitative and technical skills to real-world insurance and investment problems.
• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and complete assigned projects on time.
• Strong problem solvers with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable collaborating with different teams and, where applicable, with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of asset models for traditional and alternative asset classes.
• Assist with the implementation of strategic asset allocation (SAA) and asset-liability management (ALM) strategies.
• Help conduct performance and benchmark testing for client models and suggest ways to improve model efficiency.
• Support model reconciliation and investigations, including detailed analysis of the impact of model changes.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during PathWise software migrations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and enhance automated processes, helping ensure efficient workflows and strong controls.
