Job summary

A leading Canadian university is seeking a Graduate Assistant (Research) to design and enhance learning modules for their Graduate Peer Mentor Program. We’re Hiring: Graduate Instructional Assistant – Graduate Peer Mentor Program & Orientation

Want to create learning experiences that shape the next generation of graduate leaders? The School of Graduate Studies is looking for a Graduate Instructional Assistant to design interactive, engaging training for our Graduate Peer Mentor Program and review our orientation modules for the School of Graduate Studies.

What you’ll do:
  • Build and review online modules in Moodle and Arise.
  • Turn a three-term mentorship curriculum into interactive, reflective, and scenario-based learning.
  • Collaborate with graduate staff, mentors, and experts to ensure content is accurate, inclusive, and aligned with holistic development principles.
  • Ensure our Graduate Studies Orientation ( GSO ) Modules are up-to-date.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in instructional design, e-learning, and adult learning.
  • Skilled with Moodle and simulation-based learning (Arise preferred).
  • Creative, collaborative, and passionate about graduate student success.
