As a Grader Operator, You Will:
  • Operate a grader completing various gravel operations and fine grading tasks safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs (including lubricating equipment, and refilling equipment tanks)
  • Conduct daily circle checks of equipment before operating
  • Complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
  • Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
  • Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members
  • Comply and enforce the company”s environmental, health and safety policies
  • Act in accordance with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices
  • Travel for extended periods of time throughout Ontario
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience operating a grader is considered an asset
  • Must have a valid minimum class G driver's licence with driver”s abstract meeting Miller”s expectations
  • Operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
  • Effective communication skills and work well with others
  • Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required
  • Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions
