Pine Creek School Division operates the Teacher Mediated Option (TMO) program. TMO connects learners and teachers virtually, ensuring equitable access to a wide range of high school courses for students throughout the province.

Position Overview

The Teacher Mediated Option (TMO) program delivers high-quality instruction to students all across Manitoba through synchronous, online teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching high school courses in a virtual environment, fostering engagement, connection, and success for all learners across the Province of Manitoba.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience teaching in the Grade 9–12 range
  • Strong understanding of virtual and blended learning environments
  • Familiarity with Google Classroom and other online instructional tools
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging online classroom
Assets
  • Experience teaching students in remote learning settings
  • Knowledge of digital pedagogy and best practices for online engagement
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a virtual teaching team
