Job summary

The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) invites applications for an Occasional Teacher in a Long Term Assignment for Grade 8 at a Milton school. The position is 1.00 FTE and scheduled as per the collective agreement with OECTA Elementary.

Appointment priority is given to unplaced, qualified redundant teachers on the Elementary bargaining unit, with further consideration for applicants from the Occasional Roster if needed.

• As per the Education Act and Regulations, unless otherwise specified.

Responsibilities

• This assignment shall be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement, wherein priority placement will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining in order of seniority.
• In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.
