Job summary

Squamish General Hospital, part of Vancouver Coastal Health, is seeking a GP-OSS physician to join the maternity care team. You will share a 1:3 call schedule with a GP Surgeon and an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, supporting obstetric and surgical care for a busy community.

This role offers a rural lifestyle with access to outdoor recreation, a negotiable start date, and the chance to contribute to a Level 2 maternal and neonatal service while participating in a collaborative, multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• CCFP mandatory, CPSBC full license, CMPA mandatory.
• Obstetric experience and OSS/ESS mandatory.
• NRP mandatory and surgical skills mandatory.
• ACLS and PAL desired; ALARM desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP OSS services as part of the Squamish maternity team.
• Participate in shared operative obstetrics call schedule.
• Provide emergency obstetric assessment and intervention when required.
• Provide additional surgical or emergency procedure support aligned with training.
