Job summary

Carmens Group in Canada is seeking a part-time Dishwasher at Good Earth Winery to support our kitchen team. You will keep dishes clean, maintain sanitation, and help ensure smooth dining experiences for guests.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Weekday daytime availability is required; prior dishwashing experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or cleaning is an asset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability to work weekdays during daytime hours.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools using an industrial dishwasher or by hand.
• Ensuring all items are properly cleaned, dried, and returned to their designated storage locations.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces and equipment.
• Removing waste and recycling while ensuring workspaces and storage areas remain clean and organized.
• Reporting damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or low inventory to the Executive Chef.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Working collaboratively with the culinary team and taking direction from the Executive Chef.
• Other duties as assigned to support efficient kitchen operations.
