Job summary

A local golf club in Halton Hills, Ontario is hiring a Golf Services Manager. This seasonal position involves liaising between staff, managing outside services, and supporting golf operations. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, possess strong public relations skills, and be available to work weekends. Experience with Golf Genius software and PGA membership are assets.

  • Must have very good time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team management structure.
  • Proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Member of the PGA of Canada considered an asset.

Golf Services Manager
Job Responsibilities
  • Liaison between Director of Golf/Head Professional and Golf Services staff, executing expectations to the standards outlined pertaining to:
    • First point of contact Member and Guest interactions
    • Monitoring driving range usage
    • Managing pace of play on the golf course
  • Responsible for managing Outside Golf Services such as Member and Guest greeting, golf club washing, golf cart cleaning/maintenance, driving range operation.
  • Assist with tournament set up and other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf/Head Professional.
  • Interact and assist Members and guests on various issues.
Qualifications
  • Must excel in customer service skills.
  • Excellent public relations skills.
  • Must have very good time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team management structure.
  • Proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
