Job summary

Lactalis Canada is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to perform cleaning and housekeeping across office areas, washrooms, cafeteria, and production spaces while maintaining GMP and HACCP compliance. The role requires dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning hard-to-reach surfaces, with flexibility for additional tasks on the production floor.

The position emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and reliability, with training to support performing other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Follow safety and hygiene standards in all areas of the facility.
• Maintain high levels of attention to detail and reliability.
• Previous cleaning/sanitation experience in office and manufacturing settings.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and housekeeping of production, cafeteria, lab, and office areas.
• Maintain clean washrooms and changerooms, including lockers and floors.
• Restock soap, towels, toilet paper, and sanitizers as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock dispensers and maintain cleanliness in manufacturing zones.
• Follow GMP hygiene and safety protocols for the facility.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are stored properly.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
