Job summary

A global engineering solutions provider is seeking a highly motivated Application Engineer for their Threading Group in Metro Vancouver. You will act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, providing support throughout the application lifecycle. This role involves optimizing application solutions for paper manufacturing processes and requires a background in the pulp and paper industry. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in engineering and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sales, service, or product management experience.
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Office 365 products is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to understand customer requirements.
• Configure and optimize applications to meet client needs.
• Provide technical support for application-related issues.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.
• Communicate customer feedback to engineering teams.
• Travel regionally to customer sites and facilities.
