Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a Manager of Global Tax to lead GMT compliance and related planning. You will coordinate with global teams to gather data, perform technical analysis, and support GMT forecasting, ensuring timely filings and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressive tax experience in a large multinational corporation or major accounting firm.
• CPA designation required; completion of MTax or CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in tax accounting/financial reporting under IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Execute GMT compliance procedures aligned with OECD Pillar Two and Canada’s GMT Act.
• Analyze GMT exposure and filing obligations across jurisdictions; manage GMT returns with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with business units and finance to gather data and documentation.
