Job summary

Lyft in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an Analyst to join our Business Forecast & Planning team within Customer Care Operations. You’ll own forecasting, capacity and scheduling models, translating demand into staffing plans across sites and geographies.

Role requires hands-on SQL and Python, AI fluency, and strong business acumen. This hybrid in-office role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in planning, forecasting, capacity/resource management, or related analytics
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• AI fluency, comfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis
• Business acumen with ability to understand large, complex systems
• Self-directed with proven data‑driven decision making and stakeholder communication
• Exposure to workforce management is a plus
• Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Support development and upkeep of models connecting business drivers to staffing decisions
• Translate large, complex data into clear actionable insights for leadership
• Own day-to-day planning execution, dashboards, reporting and business reviews
• Use AI tools to build dashboards, reports, and analyses supporting recommendations
• Identify opportunities to improve planning and operations
• Act quickly on time-sensitive requests using modern tools
