Job summary

A geo-environmental services company in Burnaby is looking for a Payroll Administrator to handle payroll processing and support HR functions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in payroll and HR administration, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Dynamics GP and US payroll is beneficial. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and well-respected environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll and HR administration experience with accounting skills.
  • Good knowledge of payroll best practices and Employment Standards Act.
  • Experience in payroll systems implementation is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for hourly and salary payroll processing.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reconciliations.
  • Support new hire payroll processing and employee status changes.
