Job summary

A leading logistics company in Moncton is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to oversee inbound and outbound shipping activities efficiently. The ideal candidate will manage carrier relationships, ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, and provide guidance on documentation processes. Candidates should have over 5 years of logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing. This role promotes collaboration to drive continuous improvement across logistics and supply chain processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of logistics coordination, import/export, and transportation management experience—manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance, customs procedures, commercial documentation, and carrier management.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments for domestic and international markets.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for shipping exceptions and issue resolution.
  • Oversee import shipments and ensure alignment with Purchasing and Supply Chain goals.
  • Maintain and update CUSMA, COO, and HS coding databases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, shipping, and supply chain processes.

Education

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
