Job summary

Inpho seeks a hands-on IT Manager to lead infrastructure and data security as we scale across Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, Calgary, and international sites. You’ll build the function from scratch, perform daily IT work early on, and grow a team around a multi-site operation spanning multiple time zones.

You’ll collaborate with engineering to support EDA and HPC environments while managing budgets, vendor contracts, and licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a small IT support and systems team.
• Define, plan, and manage IT infrastructure, cloud services, and local networks.
• Secure valuable intellectual property and protect data assets.
• Support EDA tool environments and HPC clusters.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and software licensing.
• Support ERP rollout, integration, and maintenance.
• Respond to helpdesk requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Define and enforce cybersecurity, backup, and data protection policies.
• Work across SharePoint, MS365, Epicor Kinetics, and Salesforce environments.
