Position Overview

The Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in supporting UniUni’s business by partnering with leaders across business units in both the U.S. and Canada. This role focuses on delivering end-to-end HR partnership — including talent planning, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, and HR process optimization — while collaborating closely with the Global Staffing, Payroll, and C&B teams. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, ensuring that HR strategies align with business goals and that our teams are engaged, compliant, and set up for success.

Requirements

Business Partnership

  • Partner with business and department leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into effective people strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, team design, and headcount management across regions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, employee development, and engagement.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Drive talent review, goal-setting, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Identify skill gaps, high-potential talent, and development opportunities within teams.
  • Support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as the main HR contact for employee relations, resolving issues with fairness and confidentiality.
  • Promote UniUni’s culture and values, ensuring a positive and inclusive employee experience.
  • Partner with managers to strengthen communication, feedback, and trust within teams.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support HR processes across employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, offboarding).
  • Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with local employment laws in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, C&B, and SSC teams to ensure consistency in systems and reporting.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Global HR and Staffing teams in North America and HQ to align global policies and best practices.
  • Participate in HR projects such as policy design, leadership training, and organizational development programs .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of professional HR experience in HRBP, HR Generalist, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and/or Canadian employment laws and HR practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build trust with leaders and employees.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cross-border, or multi-location environment preferred.
  • Interest or experience in the logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain industry is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a global remote environment.
