Job summary

Perseus Group, on behalf of the Pegasus Portfolio, seeks an experienced Human Resources Director to oversee policy, recruiting, performance, engagement, employee relations, compliance, and M&A HR due diligence for five business units across the US, Europe, and Canada.

The role partners with Legal, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Finance, IT, and external partners to drive HR strategy and execution, including change management and international employment considerations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive HR management experience, including labor and employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
• Experience in HR due diligence and integration for at least one international acquisition.
• HR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Pegasus Portfolio President and each business unit’s management team.
• Track industry trends and best practices and translate them into recommendations for the Portfolio.
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute HR insight to business decisions.
• Provide practical HR reporting and workforce insights as requested by Portfolio and business-unit leadership, and develop recurring metrics where they add value.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, succession, retention, organizational changes, and leadership-related decisions.
• Advise leaders on restructurings, role design, and annual HR priorities across the five businesses.
• Lead HR due diligence on acquisition targets and post-close integration planning and execution.
• Coordinate HR dependencies with multiple internal and external partners.
• Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning across the Portfolio.
• Own compensation, performance-review, benefits, and employee-support cycles.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes and HRIS data integrity.
• Address employee engagement, relations, and cross-cultural considerations across jurisdictions.
• Lead HR planning for restructurings, cross-border employment, and compliance.
• Develop HR policies across countries and ensure HRIS accuracy.
