Job summary

University of Toronto is seeking a Manager, Global Alumni Engagement & Inter-portfolio Initiatives to lead strategic alumni engagement initiatives across local, national, and global markets. You will design programs, partnerships, and experiences that deepen alumni affinity and long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
• Minimum five (5) years’ of relevant experience in leading alumni outreach and/or alumni programs within a higher education environment.
• Experience establishing and managing effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating engagement and fostering relationships with alumni and stakeholders.
• Experience planning and executing alumni initiatives with a proven track record of success.
• Experience with program analysis through review of metrics and KPIs.
• Experience with student recruitment an asset: international recruitment office experience is a plus.

• Developing and implementing alumni engagement activities that support strategic objectives.
• Developing strategies that maximize outreach to students.
• Developing and implementing communication plans that support strategic objectives.
• Implementing programs that allow current students and alumni to engage with one another.
• Developing plans that support recruitment strategies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts and stakeholders.
• Conducting detailed analysis to determine trends and make recommendations to senior university officials.
