Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a seasoned Captain to command the Global 8000 on international missions from Canada. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and superior client service, leveraging extensive jet time and global experience.

Ideal candidates hold a Canadian ATPL or IATRA with strong FMS proficiency, weather knowledge, and CARs/SMS expertise, plus the ability to adapt to a dynamic, client-driven schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold Canadian ATPL or IATRA with medical and radio cert.
• Total time: 8,000 hours; 5,000 hours PJIC in jets.
• Global type rating is an asset; international experience required.
• Hands-on FMS and glass cockpit expertise; strong weather knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work a variable schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-service mindset.
• Proficiency in CARs and SMS safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Command as Captain on the Global 8000 across all flight phases.
• Plan and execute domestic and international operations with funding and routing decisions.
• Utilize FMS and glass cockpit systems to optimize efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with CARs and SMS throughout operations.
• Coordinate with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales; support daily activities.
• Deliver high-touch client experience onboard and during the journey.
• Participate in monthly training and recurrent requirements.
• Perform additional duties as required to support safe operations.
